How do I connect my notebooks?

Simply install the NoteLink plugin in ChatGPT, try to ask a question about your notebooks, and ChatGPT will prompt you to authenticate with Google. Follow the secure login flow to grant access.

Can NoteLink read my private emails or Drive files?

No. NoteLink only requests the specific Google IAM permissions necessary to read your Gemini Notebook Enterprise data. It cannot access your emails or unrelated Google Drive files.

Why can't ChatGPT see a specific notebook?

Ensure you are logged into the correct Google Account that has "Viewer" or "Editor" permissions for that specific notebook. Also, check that your organization allows third-party API access.
